We have been learning about Venn Diagrams and using them to compare and contrast in reading class. Students were to compare a rainstorm, snowstorm, tornado, hurricane, or another natural element in nature. Then we created paragraphs using a hamburger graph organizer. I was really impressed with the paragraphs that were created.

Nicholas is the STAR of the WEEK!

Nicholas was our latest star of the week.  Nicholas loves hunting, reading, being outdoors, singing, and being with family and friends.

We participated in a virtual tour of Yellowstone National Park with a park ranger. Love the kids expressions when they showed us some of the antlers and horns from the animals from the park.

Busy December!

We have been loving the sledding and snow shoeing this winter.

Brody's Grandpa John came into read to our class on Friday.  He gave everyone new bookmarks!

We went to buddy read with the first graders.

We wore our PJ's and got to have a read in.
We all had emoji pillows.

 Making gifts for our parents.

Our Holiday Party! melting snowmen ornaments, cookie decorating and fun.

Mystery Skype~ Who knew it would be interesting to Skype with someone in your own town. We used our geography skills to find out what region they were in, what their climate was like, and land forms they had in their state.
