DATES to Remember

Tuesday-February 2nd is the I LOVE to READ breakfast.  We are serving from 7:30-8:15.

Friday-February 19th is FUN NIGHT from 6-8 at Sibley.  Wristbands at $7.00  Bring money to purchase items in the cherry and blue store!  We are only taking CASH in the kitchen too this year.

I love to read month is February.  We have a READO BINGO happening at Sibley and fun dress up days.  I sent home a newsletter Friday and all the days are listed in the newsletter. 

Valentine's Day Party: We do have a little party at school on Friday February 12th.  The students may bring in Valentines for their classmates.  I included a list of the names on the back of the newsletter.  We have 28 students in our class.

Star of the Week!

Kyra was our STAR of the WEEK last week.  She is a great friend and kind to everyone.  She enjoys being with her family and friends and taking care of her brother!

Henry was our STAR of the WEEK this week!  He enjoys playing with his friends and all kinds of sports including basketball and baseball.  He was lucky enough to have stop in and take a picture with him. 

When it is 25 BELOW Zero with WIND CHILL!

Brrrr..... We have had inside recess the past two days because it has been so cold outside. So what do the students do when we are inside;

Jenga ~ Play School ~ Legos ~ Color ~ Read Together ~ Play Cards ~ Play Stacking Cups ~ Do Puzzles Together ~ Build a House for their Stuff Animals ~ Play Checkers ~ Dominoes ~ and Dance ~ Ask your child what they did.  Today we all learned the Right-Left Shuffle! 

Luke is the STAR of the WEEK!

Luke is the Star of the Week this week.  He loves every sport including baseball, football, and even had his first basketball tournament this past weekend.  I can't wait to hear how Luke and his teammates did.  If Luke isn't playing sports, you might catch outside playing with his pets, hanging out with friends, or spending time with family.

Kendra is the Star of the Week!

Kendra is our latest star of the week!  She is a super sweet girl who is always smiling.  Kendra loves camping, playing with her friends and cousins, and being with her family.  You are a true STAR of our classroom.  Keep Smiling!

Welcome Back on January 4th!

Please remember to have your child bring boots, snow pants, a hat, and gloves or mittens on Monday. We will be going outside everyday if the temperature is above 0.  

Our Holiday Party

Our parents came in for our holiday party and planned a great party.  We had cookies that they decorated to look like Santa's face, we played pin the nose on Rudolph, and made trees.  Thanks to our fabulous parents that volunteered to help last Friday. 

Mia is our star of the week!

Mia was the latest star of the week. She loves to read, dance, and hang out with her friends. Mia is a kind student that is always helpful to everyone.
