Book Orders

I placed the book orders this weekend and we will receive 8 free books for our classroom.  I picked the 3-pack MindCraft, the new Diary of a Whimpy Kid, and a 4th Grade book Pack. The orders should be here in about 7 days.  Thanks to all that ordered!

ReVoiced Concert

On Friday we were able to go to the Southwest Middle School and see a quick concert by a talented group of young men named Revoiced.  They are an a cappella group that make the beats by their voices.  They only sang a few songs for us but it was very interesting.

Welcome Back

We are back at school! I will try and be better at updating my blog. Tomorrow our book orders are due and I will place the order this weekend. Dates to remember include homecoming and our stroll for a goal, which is October 3rd.  Pledge packets will be coming home tomorrow with your child. 

Today students took a FAST reading test in the computer lab. The assessment will help guide my instruction and identifies the skills that individual students need to work this school year. For more information check out this link. fastforteachers.info
